v1.3.0 -- Zapier integration and reliability improvements
This release introduces the Configly integration for Zapier (Public Beta), so you can connect Configly to thousands of other apps without writing any code. It also brings reliability improvements to GitHub Sync on large Zendesk instances, more dependable webhook and Public API behaviour, and a handful of fixes.
New:
- Zapier integration (Public Beta) -- Configly now connects to Zapier, so you can wire your health checks, syncs, and configuration changes into thousands of apps. Triggers cover sync completed, sync failed, health check completed, health score changed, critical finding detected, and config applied. Actions let you run a health check and preview an apply. Searches let you find a config item and find a connection. Available now as a beta in Zapier's app directory. See Connect Configly to Zapier.
Improved:
- GitHub Sync on large instances -- GitHub Sync now runs reliably on large Zendesk instances. Instances with 1,500+ config files that previously failed partway through now sync cleanly.
- Clearer sync progress -- a sync now shows clearer progress and realistic time expectations while it runs.
- Recoverable failed syncs -- a failed sync no longer leaves the connection stuck. You can retry without reconnecting.
- More reliable config applied webhook -- the config applied webhook now fires reliably when an Apply finishes successfully.
- More informative sync failed webhook -- the sync failed webhook now fires for connection and credential problems, such as revoked or expired Zendesk access, and carries full failure detail.
- Sync attempt history endpoint -- a new Public API endpoint returns your sync attempt history, including both successes and failures.
- Apply correlation -- apply history now includes an operation identifier so you can correlate an apply across calls.
Fixed:
- Disconnect with no active connection -- disconnecting a connection no longer errors when there is no active connection.
- Mixed-case email matching -- fixed an email-matching issue affecting mixed-case email addresses.
