Changing your password

To change your current password:

1. Sign in to Configly at go.configly.app
2. Go to Settings → Security
3. Under Change Password, enter your current password and your new password
4. Click Update Password

Password changes are limited to 5 attempts per minute.

Resetting a forgotten password

If you have forgotten your password:

1. Go to the sign-in page
2. Click Forgot your password?
3. Enter your email address and click Send reset link
4. Check your inbox for an email from help@configly.app
5. Click the link to set a new password

Reset links expire after 1 hour and can only be used once. Reset requests are limited to 3 per hour.

Setting a password for social login accounts

If you signed up with Google or Microsoft and want to also sign in with email and password:

1. Go to Settings → Security
2. Under Set Password, enter a new password (no current password required)
3. Click Set Password

You can then sign in with either your social login or your email and password.

Not receiving the reset email?

• Check your spam or junk folder
• Ensure help@configly.app is not blocked by your email provider
• Wait a few minutes — emails may be delayed
• Try again if the link has expired
• Contact help@configly.app if the problem persists
