What is AI Analysis?
Configly uses AI to help you understand your Zendesk configuration and predict the impact of changes. AI powers two features:
- Impact Analysis in What-If Mode — when you make virtual edits, AI analyses the potential consequences across your configuration
- Health Check Executive Summaries — AI generates plain-language summaries of your health check findings
How Impact Analysis works
When you make a virtual edit in What-If Mode, click Analyse Impact to run AI analysis. The system:
- Examines the change you made and all objects that reference or depend on it
- Evaluates potential consequences — routing changes, SLA impacts, notification gaps
- Generates a safety indicator (low, medium, or high risk) with an explanation
- Lists specific objects and workflows that could be affected
Interpreting results
AI results include:
- Safety indicator — a colour-coded risk level for the proposed change
- Impact summary — a plain-language explanation of what could happen
- Affected objects — a list of triggers, automations, views, and other objects that reference the changed configuration
- Recommendations — suggested actions to mitigate risk

AI analysis is a guide, not a guarantee. Always review the specific objects listed and use your judgement before applying changes.
AI in Health Check reports
When you generate a health check PDF report, AI produces an executive summary that translates technical findings into plain language. This is especially useful for sharing reports with stakeholders who are not Zendesk administrators.
Availability
AI-powered analysis is available on Multi-Instance and Agency plans.
