Password Issues
"Reset email not received"
Problem: You requested a password reset but haven't received the email.
Solution:
- Check your spam/junk folder -- the email comes from help@configly.app
- Wait a few minutes -- email delivery can take up to 5 minutes
- Make sure you entered the correct email address
- Try requesting a new reset link
Note
For security, Configly always shows a success message even if no account exists with that email. This prevents others from discovering which emails are registered.
"Reset link expired"
Problem: You clicked a password reset link but it says "Invalid or expired link".
Solution:
- Reset links expire after 1 hour -- request a new one from the forgot password page
- Each link can only be used once -- if you already used it, request a new one
- If you requested multiple reset links, only the most recent one will work after a successful reset
"Current password is incorrect"
Problem: You're trying to change your password in Settings but get an error.
Solution:
- Make sure you're entering your current password, not the new one
- If you can't remember your current password, use the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page instead
Browser Issues
"Page won't load" or "Blank screen"
Solution:
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try incognito/private browsing mode
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Try a different browser
- Check browser console for errors (F12)
"Session expired"
Problem: Logged out unexpectedly.
Solution:
- Log back in at go.configly.app
- Sessions expire after a period of inactivity
- You can sign in with email/password, Google, or Microsoft
