User Segments
What Are User Segments?
User segments define groups of users who can access specific help centre content. They control which articles and sections are visible to which users -- for example, restricting internal documentation to agents only, or showing premium content only to certain customers.
What Configly Captures
For each user segment, Configly stores:
- Segment name
- User type -- which users are included (e.g., signed-in users, staff, specific tags/organisations)
- Built-in status -- whether this is a default Zendesk segment or a custom one
- Created and updated timestamps
