App Installations
What Are App Installations?
App installations are the Zendesk Marketplace apps installed on your instance. Each installation has its own configuration, including settings, enabled/disabled status, and the locations where the app appears in the agent interface.
What Configly Captures
For each app installation, Configly stores:
- App name and version
- Enabled status -- whether the installation is currently active
- Settings -- the app's configured settings (non-sensitive values)
- Locations -- where the app appears (ticket sidebar, top bar, etc.)
- Created and updated timestamps

The health check flags disabled app installations that are still present (APP-001).
Tips for Admins
- Review disabled installations regularly -- they may be consuming plan allocation without providing value
- Use snapshot comparison to track when app settings change
- Check app versions after Zendesk updates to ensure compatibility
